Budapest Airport was announced the winner of the Best Sample Category in the European Airport section at the ASQ Fieldwork Awards, part of the ASQ (Airport Service Quality) Forum held in Istanbul last week.

The ASQ Fieldwork Awards are an informal recognition of those airports which achieve the highest standards in ASQ fieldwork by exceeding ASQ minimum fieldwork requirements. It is an initiative introduced by the Airports Council International (ACI) to help airports to improve the quality of service experienced by passengers. Four core programmes provide practical management information and advice specifically for the airport industry. The ASQ programmes identify and disseminate best practice from top-performing airports around the world. The first ASQ Forum was held in 2006. The programme now boasts 197 participants worldwide, with 59 participants in Europe. “We are delighted to have exceeded requirements and to have achieved this award,” said Jost Lammers, CEO for Budapest Airport. “It is testimony to our continuing commitment to deliver best practice in all areas of our business.”
